Hey Ron, not sure which app you're looking for but AE and Photoshop use
Adobe's Extendscript (Javascript) to do panels inside the app. I think if
you really wanted to use QT you'd have to build it as an external app and
then pipe whatever you want to do back into the app with an open socket. If
it's AE, you might want to check out aescripts.com.
