Hey Mads,

parts could be covered with ffprobe from ffmpeg.
https://pypi.python.org/pypi/ffprobe/0.1
there is this nice python wrapper (reads the stdout and parses it into an object)
Though I doubt it will know r3d... ffprobe I mean.

Cheers

Hey guys,

I have some media (nuke supported files like mov, r3d, exr, dpx...) that i need to get some data from. Like format size, framerate, length etc..

But i want to avoid loading the footage into the nodegraph. Is there a way to get this information in nuke without doing this?
