Can't remember how far back (prob DD days), but some Nuke funkiness (interactive) were due to cache issues and were resolved by performing "rm" on the cache dir. Render->Clear Disk Cache does work now, but I'd recommend clearing the cache, exit Nuke and reopen with a freshly dumped cache.
If interactive Nuke is performing somewhat funky, I've noticed it's been cache related and executing what I mentioned above has resolved most of my issues for years. .02 On Fri, Apr 15, 2011 at 4:43 PM, Nathan Rusch <[email protected]>wrote: > Just out of curiosity, is the Render->Clear Disk Cache command in Nuke not > doing what you're after? > > -Nathan > > -----Original Message----- From: Nulightfx > Sent: Friday, April 15, 2011 4:39 PM > To: Nuke user discussion > Cc: Nuke user discussion > Subject: Re: [Nuke-users] Clearing cache > > > I'm new to scripting, where do I type that? > > > > On Apr 15, 2011, at 11:21 AM, Ned Wilson <[email protected]> wrote: > > rm -rf /var/tmp/nuke-u501/* >> >> >> On Apr 15, 2011, at 10:57 AM, Nulightfx wrote: >> >> I know for Windows, to clear cache for Nuke you go to C://temp/nuke and >>> delete the "nuke" folder. >>> So what's the equivalent for Mac? >>> >>> >>> _______________________________________________ >>> Nuke-users mailing list >>> [email protected] >>> http://support.thefoundry.co.uk/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/nuke-users >>> >> >> _______________________________________________ >> Nuke-users mailing list >> [email protected] >> http://support.thefoundry.co.uk/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/nuke-users >> > _______________________________________________ > Nuke-users mailing list > [email protected] > http://support.thefoundry.co.uk/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/nuke-users > _______________________________________________ > Nuke-users mailing list > [email protected] > http://support.thefoundry.co.uk/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/nuke-users >
