Can I read .mxf files in Nuke?  If so, how?

yes, you can use ffmpeg as the file reader to do this.   the easiest way is to make a TCL pointer for the MXF file type somewhere in your nuke path.

so, in a file called "mxfReader.tcl", just put the line:

load ffmpegReader

after you restart nuke, upon selecting MXF files in the nuke file browser, they'll read in fine.   i've noticed that nuke is interpreting the pixel aspect incorrectly and i need to append a Reformat node (HD format, resize=none) to fix the issue.
