Hello folks,

I am trying to get into nuke math and vector expressions and did some research 
but I am not able to figure out some basic things.

I hope someone can help me out. 
I thought it would be a good exercise rebuilding a lambert shader with math. 
I think I need the following things:

-the surface normals
-a light vector
-than the dotProduct for calculating the direction of the light bounce
-than after all I have to combine the elements and calculate the lambert shader

I attached a script which I started but I dont know if I am on the right path.

Could someone please help me creating putting those things together and if 
possible explain a thing or two?
I would be very thankful!
