Hi,

try this one in the label of a read node:
[ lindex [split [filename] /] end-1]

If it works you can use as a knobdefault.
This splits the read's path by "/", and takes the tag before the last (the
dirname before the filename). You need to have / as path separator, or
change to "\\" in the expression if you use backslashes (I think, I didn't
test this one).
