Some good news on our end, at least. In this case, it turned out that the specific problem I had was due to some internal stuff with our render script. That's been taken care of and now all is well. We still have the usual problems everyone has pointed out though.
Is Nuke is opening all those disabled and unconnected reads to build a postage stamp? That's one little open file issue that would be nice to fix. That was a great tip, Johan - thanks! jrab
