Just a pointer, recently I rendered DPX with alpha and the catch was instead of
10 bit one of my colleague advised me to do it 16 bit and it loaded without any
issues in Fusion and Combustion.

Alpha channels are in thr dpx spec.  So they should have them if they are
requested to have them or someone puts it their for their internal use.

Hi,

merry christmas

dpx are not supposed to have an alpha channel, nuke allows it as Deke advised
but will lead to trouble if the sequence is used in another package.

switch to tiff render for a top quality alternative but if you want to output
log stick to dpx and maybe render rgb and alpha separately.

Cheers

Lucien
