Making a shadow from a human figure using the pull of the figure Somtimes works 
on still images but usually causes problems with moving figures. The reasons 
for this you are now encountering (eg feet mis match). On simple objects like 
cars it is more likely to work. Your best bet might be a roto. Most shadows 
require the shadow main body to fade out towards its far reaches  and an 
extreme darkness at the foot of the shadow (eg underneath the feet). This is 
often handled with a separate roto.
