Because of the nature of depth AOVs, they cannot be reliably antialiased, hence
the edges you see. You can usually clean them up with a coverage pass (if you
can get one).

Subject: [Nuke-users] Zmerge, is thi sthe best I can expect?

Hi all

I am trying out the Zmerge node but getting pretty awful results. I thought it
was a bit too good to be true if this worked but the edging I am getting is
really harsh. Is this to be expected or can I do something to improve?

This is from a 32 bit exr from Vray.

Cheers

Will.
