Nuke draws handles (which is what I think you're referring to) in the
viewer whenever a Node's properties panel is open, so you can either
close/collapse the properties panel for the Ramp node, or:
you can toggle drawing of all overlays (for all Nodes) by pressing the
'o' key with the mouse over the viewer.
