Hey there Gabriel. You use the "Sample Diameter" and "Focus Diameter" under the MultiSample tab in your Scanline Renderer in conjunction with your "Focal Distance" and "FStop" on your Camera under the Projection tab.
It's tricky to fine tune, and extremely heavy to calculate. Best bet is to just output Z from the Scanline Renderer and use something like ZDefocus or PGBokeh for the defocus. It'll be a lot quicker to calculate and to adjust for your needs. Hope this helps! -Travis
