I'm on the trial here, about to jump into nuke properly. I have what i hope is
a simple question, so simple in fact that i can't seem to google a clear answer.

I need to transcode, create proxies and write metadata to a few hundred source
files (DNxHD mov)

I can open the file, get the metadata, write text and output the file no
problem. Although the metadata is has access too seems limited? I have files
with custom meta data in from adobe prelude too, but that's a separate issue.

But my real question is how to i batch the process across all the files on the
server?

I can be on Mac OS X or Wndows 7. Is there anything in nuke that can do this or
will i need to run nuke via a command line, in which case how can i pipe in the
source file and the output path?

many thanks and i hope the question isn't too stupid

cheers
paul
