hey Itai,
you could probably use the blur/divide/multiply setup to achieve what
you're after, i think.
have a look at the setup i pasted below. replace the color wheel with
your input image and paint with the desired color in the paint node
that's labeled 'paint color'.

I need to roto "wash paint" the edges of a motion blurry actor, shot
on green.
In the Paint node, I cant find that sort of painting mode.
In Flame I would just "wash" his spilled edges, coloring them back to
his skin tone, sampling color from his nearby skin as I roto away the
frames.
(sorry for using Flame all the time as my reference...I am more used
to it than I hoped...)
