Hi Joel,
Sorry to hear you're having problems with the the drag and drop
functionality in Nuke 7.0 . If you haven't done so already, please send
this issue in to The Foundry support team at [email protected].
I notice you're running OSX Leopard (10.5.7) which is an unsupported
platform in Nuke 7.0. Either way, whatever details you send to the
support team will help us track down the issue.
Thanks :)
Cheers,
Sean

Hey all, sorry to drag this back up but I'm having the same problem
now in Nuke 7.0v2. From what I've been able to figure out, Nuke wont
allow me to drag a file in from Finder (OSX 10.7.5) ONLY if I have a
custom layout loaded. If I use one of the default Nuke layouts, it
works fine. Load a custom layout, it fails. Load a default layout, it
works fine.
I cleared everything out of the .nuke folder and tested it a few times
and it seems to be the custom layout that causes it to fail. The only
workaround I've found is to load a default layout anytime I need to
import a file. Very annoying.
Is this a glitch anyone else has had?

Haha, sorry.
I was just wondering if you had any custom python code that
would modify the drag&drop behaviour and could cause the problem.
What OS are you on? What file are you trying to drag into
Nuke? Are you seeing any errors in the terminal?
Do you have any custom code in the NUKE_PATH and/or ~/.nuke?
Cheers,
frank

Hey Frank, thanks for the response but I have absolutely no
idea what you mean. So I'm going to say that no, I do not
have any custom drop callbacks that might spit their dummies.

Did Nuke 7 kill the ability to drag and drop files from
Finder into Nuke? I've been running the Nuke 7 beta and
have had to keep 6.3 open to drag files into, copy them,
and paste them into Nuke 7.
Hopefully I'm missing something obvious here. Thanks for
the help.
