Hi Mathieu, Just a quick answer for you. The difference between those two is after a deepHoldout your comp stream is back to a normal 2D one. The deepMerge node in the other allows you to keep your comp in Deep stream. The massive advantage is that can do way more complex holdout operation in your comp. I'm using it all the time, specially if you are using pgBokeh for your depth of field it's betterif your comp is in Deep stream. If you don't need to do complex comp and big defocus I advise you to stay with DeepHoldout as it's lighter/faster. I've noticed some difference in the result but I haven't been able to put my finger on it why there is a diffrence, it shouldn't be.
