Does anyone know how to prevent this from happening? I'm using tcl because
normal Nuke expressions don't work and most of the time this is fine. I've
found the temp expressions work fine for storing temp variables of custom
knob values but there are only four. So if you create custom user knobs
then refer to them as [value <customUserKnobName>], on occasion when you
re-open the script it will have evaluated to the float number result and
the expression is gone.

This seems like a bug and it's been around for a while (I reported it about
a year ago) but I haven't done much deep work until now so I forgot about
it. I thought I'd see if anyone else has dealt with this in a clever way.
For example, is there a way of adding more temp_expr knobs and getting
DeepExpression to recognise and evaluate them?

Thanks,
Michael
