For those of you venturing into using exr 2.0 for deep renders, do you find half float has sufficient accuracy? I'm guessing the answer is "it depends" and "do some tests" but we're not rendering volumetrics which would be the most demanding scenario. The only layering of semi transparency is AA/MB/DOF.
For a regular aov I would want Pworld (position in world space) as full float and everything else as half, but technically deep is just Z so maybe it's more forgiving. Thanks, Michael
