We are using the Red SDK 4.3 in Nuke 7.0 which is pretty new as far as I know. If your having issues, please send an example file to support if possible. If it’s for a film with files you can’t give out it would be useful if you even just do a red red trim and cut a few frames without any sensitive images in it.
As for the linear issue I can’t seem to reproduce it. I’m trying 6.3v9, 7.0v5 and 7.0v6 and I can’t get any of them to switch out of Half linear Float. I’m not sure which proxy you we’re refering to but I tried viewer proxy, viewer downrez and the r3d “decode resolution” proxy setting. None of them would reset as I jumped between resolutions. We did fix a few things in 7.0v6 with the read node where it will automatcially switch the colorspace to cineon when you use redlogfilm and auto switch to linear when you pick half linear float. None of it has to do with the proxy modes but maybe you should check it out and see if it still has this problem. ----- Deke Kincaid Creative Specialist The Foundry Mobile: (310) 883 4313 Tel: (310) 399 4555 - Fax: (310) 450 4516 The Foundry Visionmongers Ltd.
