The noise node in Nuke is pretty effective. It has a Turbulent option in the type parameter.
Though there are hundreds of different noises to call upon, it is pretty rare that Fbm or turbulent don't do the trick. Even turbulence can be faked with two fbm noises placed over each other in difference mode.
