Strange, it's works in 7.0v8 on Linux and OS X 10.8.4
I doubt it would make any difference, but I was testing with it bound to the tab key (without the alt modifier)
It sounds like a Mountain Lion-specific regression in Nuke, so would be worth reporting to Foundry support
