You can do this in a round-about way by importing the fbx file, then
using WriteGeo to export it out as an alembic file(s).
Then load up the alembic, which will give you the more granular control
over elements.

Is there a way to load an FBX so that it loads more like how Flame
Actions loads. By that I mean right now I have 2 option it seems 1
element or all elements as 1 element. It would be nice to just open
one FBX and have it break out into all its parts and in a scene. Am
I just missing something?
