The biggest gotcha is avoiding the shower door look (or grease on lens?), ie. as the camera moves the brush strokes stay locked to the geo vs. the lens.
If you can find a way to generate brush stroke positions from the CG world to drive the watercolour look it’s going to feel a lot nicer.
