[Nuke-users] local file caching slow

I'm finding the Local File Cache -> Update All copying from a network share quite slow. Getting 10MB/s instead of 70MB/s when copying from the OS (same or similar files). 
Is there a reason for this?

workstation is Win7
server is samba share on linux


any thoughts?
