Me thinks tilde expansion is shell specific…maybe '$HOME/nuke' From: [email protected] Date: Fri, 15 Nov 2013 16:46:10 -0800 To: [email protected] Subject: [Nuke-users] [NUKE_TEMP DIR]
I’m trying to set a common temp dir for all the machines. If I set an explicit path like: os.environ [’NUKE_TEMP DIR’] = ‘/User/gfx11/nuke’ in the init.py it works, but if I try to make it more generic for all macs like: os.environ [’NUKE_TEMP DIR’] = ‘~/nuke’ nuke barfs when it starts, saying it can’t create an ofxplugincache directory due to permissions. But aren’t those two paths the same? I can cd ~/nuke no problem. Any ideas?
