I never use MOV on linux so this is a guess but there must be a jpeg2000
which is very good but I don't know about playback. jpeg2000 was what the
Media 100 used    The other that gets asked for by edit dept. all the time
still.  mjpeg.  both of those I think are in ffmpeg but I can't remember
for Linux.   Its usually some automated post render process when at a
facility thats linux.
