Not easily. A lot of the shortcuts in the viewer are internally hardwired, instead of being menu items in the nuke.menu("Viewer") menu or knobs on the Viewer node

You can work around this with an Qt EventFilter, but that isn't necessarily the most robust or stable way to do things,

Best thing to do is prod [email protected] about Feature 32383 (ability to override various shortcuts in viewer like r/g/b/z/y/z/shift+w, access the various buttons and dropdowns not exposed like the 2D/3D, ROI/pause/refresh buttons)

Is there a way to change this back to the old behavior (yes, how on
earth am I supposed to learn a new hotkey)?

I don't see any scripts fired when toggling the overlay, nor do I find
any knobs in the root/viewer node that is used for overlay.

Best regards,
Simon

In nuke 9, it's now set to change the out point. Does anyone
know what the new shortcut is?
