Hey all I was wondering or in fact need to find a way to get a camera and animation of an object from nuke to AE.
reason we want to design some effects in AE with trapCode particular and optical flares, yes I understand that both of these plugs are available for nuke but the budget does not extend to purchasing them. We have the AE *.jsx scripts from http://www.3dmation.com/ but they seem to place the XYZ data in the wrong places along with the rotation orders being different, we will continue to investigate fixing these issues . Although I was hoping some one out there might have a tried and true method of doing this. We could export from nuke to a *.fbx take into maya and the to a *.ma file which will be our next approach but once again if any one as developed a method it would be great if some one could flow me some tips and pr trick relating to our current approaches or some thing we have not thought of. kind regards / happy holidays -adam
