Anyone have any experience or know of a tool that allows for automatic VFX shot creation?
For example if I had an EDL, XML or similar that denoted a R3D tape name, in and out timecode, and shot name - is there anything that would go and find the correct Red media and output a DPX sequence from that preferably reformatted down from 6K to HD? Is this something that Shotgun/Ftrack would be good at?
