I’m having the same issue here, also on El Capitan.

It’s especially noticeable when I’m rotoing. I can’t reproduce this exactly, 
but every once in a while, there will be a three second delay between 
panning/zooming the interface and the viewer updating, and also, when I pick up 
a bezier point and move it.

Pretty frustrating.

Using the mouse instead of the tablet is not an option for me, I’ve got some 
carpal tunnel in my wrist. :(

FWIW - this is a “Trash Can” Mac Pro, running 10.11.6. It has the D500 GPUs.

Does the issue persist on Sierra? And is it with all GPUs (D300, D500, D700) or 
just the 500s?
