Hi guys, I know the development of atom-dash is already underway, but I have some complaint regarding of its name.
In short (and pictures), my complaint is explained on these pictures<http://imgur.com/a/39jJT> . The gnome-shell as we knew it, has Overview that displayed when users click "Activities" button in top right or pressed Super/Windows button. Overview contains many component, such as Dash, View Selector, Workspace Thumbnails, and Search Box. Dash is a component on the *left side of Overview* that contains *list of favorite applications and running application*, while View Selector contains list of all applications, frequent applications, windows list and Workspace Thumbnail in the *center stage of Overview*. Thus, I believe it is inappropriate to name our implementation of application list as "Dash". I suggest to change the name to "atom-viewselector" or "atom-overview" or even "atom-appdisplay", depends on the range of implementation (e.g. do we nuke the default Overview that shows windows and workspace thumbnail?, if it is then we're implementing the whole Overview) -- My best regards, Muhammad Iqbal CR Dept. of Computer Science and Information Engineering National Taiwan University of Science and Technology
