A quick email about the panel.
???????? created the panel extension as it is now, but it is just not
really working. (Sorry ????????) He agreed

upon rewriting the panel, but I haven't heard of him in a few days.
Maybe somebody could assist ???????? in writing the new panel?
For the design and feature requirements of the panel (and the other
extensions), you can check the development document

Just keep in mind you must not hardcode theme elements (Colors,
transparencies, etc) in the extension, but the extension should adapt
those elements from gnome shell themes.
