Okay, can you also do the following:
$ ls -l /usr/lib/lib{lapack,f77blas,cblas,atlas}.*
$ ls -l /usr/lib/atlas/lib{lapack,f77blas,cblas,atlas}.*
Is there an atlas-devel RPM that you also need to install?
