The md5 checksums are also in the release notes (which you can find by clicking on the little notepad by the release on the download page). Here are the release notes for the 1.2.0 release: http://sourceforge.net/project/shownotes.php?group_id=1369&release_id=628858 Of course, that is terribly difficult to find. I haven't been able to figure out a better way to have sourceforge display checksum information. Ideally, they could display the checksum information like they do for the filesize and architecture information: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=1369&package_id=175103&release_id=628858 If anyone knows how to make sourceforge display this information, please let me know. I would also like it if you could somehow embed the checksum in the URL. Maybe something like this: https://wiki.mozilla.org/Firefox/Feature_Brainstorming:Downloads#MD5_Checksum -- Jarrod Millman Computational Infrastructure for Research Labs 10 Giannini Hall, UC Berkeley phone: 510.643.4014 http://cirl.berkeley.edu/ _______________________________________________ Numpy-discussion mailing list Numpy-discussion@scipy.org http://projects.scipy.org/mailman/listinfo/numpy-discussion
