Reload Tests sometimes "loses" tests

Bug description:
When reloading tests (either automatically or via the File menu item)
certain changes are not reflected. Sometimes test cases are lost or
new test cases are not displayed. Changed names may not be recognized.
Tests that were deleted continue to be displayed. This happens very
erratically but enough to be annoying. A complete project reload
resolves the problem.
