What I meant is that you can run nupic on a VM with Ubuntu rather than go the vagrant way.
And .bashrc file is hidden. You have to do an 'ls -a' from the Ubuntu terminal on the home folder if you want to see .bashrc listed. But since you should be typing the lines matt had specified on the terminal, you don't have to really locate .bashrc. -----Original Message----- From: "Aseem Hegshetye" <[email protected]> Sent: 21-02-2014 04:36 To: "[email protected]" <[email protected]> Subject: Re: [nupic-discuss] using nupic on windows Hi, So I am using Windows 7. I installed Virtual machine, vagrant on windows. I did vagrant init and vagrant up and vagrant ssh in git bash in windows. I did the git clone https://github.com/numenta/nupic.git in git bash in windows. I installed ubuntu on VM. restarted my machine. again did vagrant up and vagrant ssh in git bash in windows while ubuntu was on in VM. I had already installed nupic-linux64 dependencies on windows. I was told by Kevin that I should do all this after installing ubuntu on VM. so should i again be installing vagrant from ubuntu that is on VM on my windows. I remember i successfully installed vagrant and changed vagrantfile on windows. only thing that i was stuck on windows is I could not find .bashrc file. SO later I installed ubuntu and looked in home directory on VM but couldnt find .bashrc . thanks _______________________________________________ nupic mailing list [email protected] http://lists.numenta.org/mailman/listinfo/nupic_lists.numenta.org
