Hi,

I created two repos in my account:
- https://github.com/DavidRagazzi/nupic.core.net

This is a temporary measure, later I'll transfer them to the interested
ones.

Anyway, I need GitHub account of all you, in order to you follow the
progress. At moment I only have Fergal nickname (@fergalbyrne).

David

Hi David/Brian/Fergal,

I have been listening in on your correspondence for a while but have been
too intimidated to actually participate in the discussion, which admittedly
has been out of my league. I am learning Clojure now and would love to have
a chance to build my skills and do something related to AI. Carin Meier who
as a guest on the Cognitect podcast has also expressed interest in making a
Clojure implementation of nupic.core. I strongly urge you guys to talk to
her because she is a totally awesome and is already doing AI/robotics work
in Clojure.

One thing that I noticed, Fergal, is that you are talking about wrapping
Java to accomplish the task. I wanna ask though, with Clojurescript on the
scene, wouldn't it make more sense to build a Clojure only version that can
compile easily to either Java or Javascript, depending on each user's
needs? With so much dynamic/async browser stuff going on these days, it
seems like access to both VMs would provide more longterm staying power. I
am a noob though so I don't know if this is even possible or practical. In
any case, if there is some way I could get mentored or help out with the
overall project, I would be thrilled!

Hi David/Brian,

I'm working on a Clojure implementation, and that will include Clojure
wrappers to talk to nupic.core via the Java bindings. If I can be of any
help to Brian with getting those up and running, I'd be delighted to pitch
in.
