That is what I used the toolkit for in this example, yes, but the goal
of the project is to make it easier for people who are interested in
trying NuPIC on visual problems.

I am not an expert on the swarming algorithm either, but what I wanted
more than just finding the best parameter combination is to get the
results for all combinations so I can plot them and try to get a
better intuitive feel for what's the spatial pooler is doing as I
attempt to get a feel for what limits its performance.
