Sorry Mika. I've heard that matplotlib can be hard to configure on
some systems. Unfortunately, helping you get it installed properly is
a bit outside my expertise. One thing you might need to change is this
line:

    matplotlib.use('TKAgg')

Your system might not have the 'TKAgg' backend installed. See:
http://matplotlib.org/api/matplotlib_configuration_api.html#matplotlib.use.
