I've been reading through it and I think the diagrams are a definite improvement over the original white paper. Diagrams overall are one thing I'd like to see more of in the Numenta documentation. Though, it's a bit hard to distinguish the shades of grey in this white paper. Perhaps you could use more distinguishable colors to make them a bit more clear.
