I'd been planning to donate my embryonic project to combine functional programming and HTM into the community from the beginning, but there were some concerns about Contributor Agreements in nupic itself (which are correctly designed to protect Numenta's interests).
Now, Matt has created https://github.com/nupic-community which has no predefined CA's, and so I'm delighted to announce that Clortex is now a part of the NuPIC Community organisation. https://github.com/nupic-community/clortex Once it's at a certain level of functional completeness (hopefully by the hackathon), I'll be looking for Maintainers to help run the project under the full C4.1 process - the Collective Code Construction Contract is designed to foster high velocity development with no central "authority". Details at http://rfc.zeromq.org/spec:22 Thanks to Matt for his great work in building a great community and ecosystem around HTM and NuPIC.
