Hi Everybody, >From time to time we have received queries from folks wanting to know how to experiment with the basic/raw NuPIC Algorithms either separately or chaining them together. At which point I usually offer to trudge out something I put together last year so I could experiment with the algorithms myself.
Anyway, Matt Taylor suggested I make a Gist of the file so we can have it be easily referenced since it seems to be a popular share. The file is QuickTest.py, and is useful for demonstrating the way to "wire" one or more of the algorithms together or how to work with them separately, as well as an easy way to "play" with the algorithms to learn about their inner workings.
