Hello NuPIC,

Good news! Our HTM community here continues to grow and flourish. We see
new names on our mailing list every week, and new people in our chat rooms.
These are signs of a healthy community! But, I think we can take HTM to the
next level.

I believe that HTM contains the foundational building blocks of true
machine intelligence, but most of the machine learning community disagrees,
choosing to continue exploring less biologically-inspired models and
methods. Anytime there is a discussion online about up-and-coming machine
learning or AI technologies, we want to try and be a part of that
discussion. Because we are so ahead of the curve, most of the time we are
left out of these conversations.

You can help change this!

If we see an article, a video, a post, a tweet, etc. about machine learning
or AI, let's make sure that HTM gets included in the discussion! If there
is no mention of HTM in the original post, say something in the comments.
Try to contact the author and let them know what we are doing, how
transparent the technology is, how great our community is, etc. This is
kindof a "grass roots" movement, so it takes a lot of people doing little
things like this to raise the global tide and get more visibility for what
we are doing here.

The more people know about HTM, the faster this revolution will occur. The
more people try to use HTM to solve their big data problems, the more
people succeed. We want to see success stories, and that means we need more
people using it and knowing about it.

Even if you are just a lurker on this list and have no technical
experience, this is a way you can help.

Regards,
---------
