I was about to make the following proposition: what would you think about adding your patch (as an override option) but defaulting to "upslog-"<ups>"-"<hostname> (for example: "upslog-myups-localhost"). This would always satisfy the unique name, with a sane default naming, and give a pattern for the logrotate definition (btw, would be interesting to add a sample config somewhere in the tree). thoughts and comments? cheers, Arnaud -- Linux / Unix Expert R&D - Eaton - http://www.eaton.com/mgeops Network UPS Tools (NUT) Project Leader - http://www.networkupstools.org/ Debian Developer - http://www.debian.org Free Software Developer - http://arnaud.quette.free.fr/
