I would prefer to add another driver for this device. Although the command that is used to query the UPS is identical, the formatting of the reply clearly isn't. It also seems to require some calculations to get the true battery voltage. Since it doesn't support the I and F queries either, I would say that this is not the Megatec/Q1 protocol, but something different.
