Unfortunately - yes - including the "I" query. The unit just times out
when I send that. Also, the windows software that came with the unit
that I snooped on doesn't send it at all.

I would prefer to add another driver for this device. Although the
command that is used to query the UPS is identical, the formatting of
the reply clearly isn't. It also seems to require some calculations to
get the true battery voltage. Since it doesn't support the I and F
queries either, I would say that this is not the Megatec/Q1 protocol,
but something different.
