guys, a very special integration case needed a new variable to exposed the time elapsed on battery. I do know that it could have been computed by a upsmon like client application, but it was not possible in this specific case. so we went the firmware way to implement the logic, to minimize the impact on NUT, requiring only the creation of a variable for the mapping.
I thus propose the following new variable: battery.runtime.elapsed: Elapsed battery runtime (seconds) Comments?
