I have now created a Solaris 10 and a Solaris 11 developpement lab with NUT 
compiled with OpenSSL and I am facing the same issue as described in the github 
issue comment.
Next I will try new to use BIO_* socket functions into NUT to force SSL to use 
blocking IO.
