It's one of their lesser transgressions :-)

Bear in mind that the usb.ids file is a composite of the official company names 
(for idVendor, probably grabbed from usb.org documents) and idProduct values 
observed in the wild. If Cyber Power chooses to reuse the idProduct 0x501 
across all of their models in that class, that's fine, as long as their HID 
descriptors report any actual data format differences.
