I only pasted a subset of my upsmon.conf. NOTIFYCMD is in my upsmon.conf

AFA nutmon user. I was trying different things I had the directory as nutmon nut but changed it to nutmon nutmon to see if that worked. It didn't make a difference.

[root@donner nut]# grep ^[^#] upsmon.conf
RUN_AS_USER nutmon
MONITOR deltec-PRA1500@localhost 1 nutmon zaq12wsx master
MINSUPPLIES 1
SHUTDOWNCMD "/sbin/shutdown -h +0"
NOTIFYCMD /sbin/upssched

The NOTIFYCMD command points to /sbin/upssched, but your command

  sudo ls -alt /home/nutmon

showed that upssched is in directory /home/nutmon.

What does command ps -elf | grep -E 'nut|ups[dms]' report when upsd is running ?
