Thank you Eyal!! Adding usbhid.quirks=0x0463:0xffff:0x08 to the kernel boot parameters did the trick for me.
FYI to those using Fedora 32, to edit the command line use the tool "grubby" as follows: grubby --update-kernel=ALL --args="usbhid.quirks=0x0463:0xffff:0x08" @DEVS: Could you please re-add the code for using this UPS?
